Do you feel confident or do you think that confidence is for other people?
In this article I explore confidence and a great conversation I had via Instagram Live.
This week I had a wonderful conversation with Karen McCarthy of The Simplified Social Media to explore this idea. Karen is an incredible mentor and coach as well as being a wonderful human being. I was delighted to join her to discuss confidence in business. You can watch the discussion here.
As Karen said “I have been in business for over 8 years now and one lesson I’ve learned over and over again is that if you don’t do the mindset work and learn how to build your confidence you will struggle to grow your business”
You see the main ingredient for any kind of success is changing your mindset and working on your confidence. Although our conversation was centered on business, mindset and confidence applies to all areas of your life.
For many of us we simply don’t believe in ourselves and we don’t believe that we can achieve our goal or succeed. We think confidence is something that happens to other people. We also believe that we can ignore our mindset obstacles and carry on regardless. The truth is that this will only work for so long.
Take a moment now to think about your confidence levels. Do you believe in your abilities and talents? Do you believe in your ability to make that something you’re striving for happen? If you haven’t answered yes to both of these questions then you will have a problem with your confidence.
The good news is confidence can be learned and your mindset obstacles can be overcome. I want to help you do just that. You can book your FREE consultation with me here.
