It is the season for all things ghost but let’s remember

Have you ever experienced the sudden disappearance of someone you thought you had a connection with? That’s what we call 𝘨𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨. It’s a phenomenon that has become all too common in today’s digital age, leaving many feeling confused, hurt and frustrated.
👻What is ghosting?
Ghosting refers to the act of abruptly cutting off all communication with someone without any explanation or closure. It can happen in various relationships, be it romantic, friendship, or even professional connections. The ghoster simply vanishes, leaving the other person wondering what went wrong and why.
👻Why do people ghost?
Ghosting can happen for a multitude of reasons, and it’s essential to remember that everyone’s situation is unique.
Some people may ghost because they struggle with confrontation or fear of hurting others.
Others may have lost interest or found themselves overwhelmed with personal challenges.

👻How does it feel to be ghosted?
Being ghosted can be a 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘶𝘭 experience. It can leave you with a sense of rejection, self-doubt and unanswered questions. You may find yourself wondering what you did wrong or what you could have done differently.
Remember though, that being ghosted says more about the ghoster’s inability to communicate than it does about your value as an individual.

You have a heart of gold which can sometimes be really difficult and painful for you. It may even feel like that heart is breaking right now.
I see you and I know that you care deeply. You are a sensitive soul. I know you’re doing your best every day to try help the world.
But maybe you feel like your efforts are not enough. You have guilt for the moments of joy in your life. You find yourself overwhelmed with sadness, despair or anger.
Your soul hurts witnessing one atrocity after another. You are in pain seeing constant violation of rights.
This is because you care about people and about the world and you are passionate about justice and equality. It’s because you believe in kindness. It’s because you are not prepared to give up on what’s right. It's because you are a good person.
I know it’s really hard, I get it. But you need to look after yourself too.

Hope isn't always about dramatic transformations or monumental changes. Often, it's the small, everyday moments that can reignite our optimism. Look for glimmers, beauty in the mundane: the way sunlight filters through the trees, the sound of birds singing in the morning, the love of your pet. Remind yourself that life has its pockets of joy, even amidst chaos.
⭐Purpose and Action
Channel your energy into actions that align with your values. Whether it’s volunteering, supporting a cause close to your heart, or simply lending a listening ear to someone in need, purposeful actions can be incredibly empowering. They help shift the focus from what we can't control to the positive impacts we can make.
⭐Connecting with Others
Isolation can amplify feelings of despair, so it's important to connect with others. Share your feelings with trusted friends or family members. Join an advocacy group and meet people who share your values. Being vulnerable and expressing your fears and hopes can lighten your emotional load.
Finding hope doesn't mean ignoring the difficulties or pretending everything is perfect. It means acknowledging the challenges while believing in the potential for positive change. Hope is also a form of protest against the darkness in the world,
