Pet Grief Counselling

Support for Navigating the Loss of a Beloved Pet

Losing a pet is one of life’s most heart-wrenching experiences. Our pets are our confidantes, our companions and our family members.

The heartbreak of saying goodbye can leave a void that feels impossible to fill. I understand the unique and profound grief that accompanies the loss of a pet, having suffered it myself.

My Pet Grief Counselling service is here to provide the compassionate support you need during this difficult time.

Understanding Pet Grief

Grieving the loss of a pet is a deeply personal journey. The sadness, loneliness and even anger you might be feeling are all valid emotions. It’s important to honour these feelings and acknowledge the significant bond you shared with your furry friend.

Pet grief is real and deserves acknowledgment and care.

My Approach

My counselling approach is designed to offer you a safe and empathetic space to express and process your emotions. With personalised one-on-one sessions, we will explore your grief journey together, addressing the unique aspects of your relationship with your pet and finding ways to honour their memory while moving forward.

How can Pet Grief Counselling help?

Navigating pet loss alone can be overwhelming. Pet grief counselling can help you:

  • Validate Your Experience: Understanding that your grief is normal and worthy of support
  • Find Healing: Developing healthy ways to cope with your emotions
  • Create Meaning: Finding ways to celebrate your pet’s life and contributions to your own

Why Choose Me

Hi, I’m Elaine.

I am a qualified Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Life Coach and Author with over 13 years of experience in person-centred care and career guidance. I’m an animal lover; my animals are my world and sadly I’ve experienced the heartbreak that accompanies loving animals so much.  I know too well the pain and often the loneliness associated with pet grief.

In fact, pet grief was one of the reasons I decided to become a therapist.  I couldn’t find the understanding and care I needed with my grief and didn’t want others to feel the same way.

I have trained and qualified in various areas, including Psychotherapy, Counselling (masters level), Coaching, Healing, Business, Linguistics, Addiction, Reiki, Transpersonal Therapy and Neuro-Diversity, to best serve my clients.

Anxiety in Ireland

I carry out all of my sessions and work with the greatest empathy, integrity and positive regard for all of my clients using evidence-based knowledge and my skill set from my training and experience.  I utilise elements of Humanistic, CBT and Solution Focused therapies in my work.

I want to make sure that I’m the right fit for you and that’s why I offer a FREE consultation before we start working together.

  • One of the most transformative experiences in therapy is the strong interpersonal relationship built between the therapist and the client. This connection is the cornerstone of effective therapy and it transcends physical location and proximity. This is why I am a firm believer in online therapy.

In a world where our lives are increasingly digital, online therapy offers convenience and accessibility, but more importantly, it proves that meaningful connections can be made, regardless of location. As a Psychotherapist and Life Coach, I have seen firsthand how powerful online sessions can be in fostering deep, therapeutic relationships.

Here’s why online therapy works:

⭐Connection Over Proximity
The essence of therapy lies in the trust and rapport between the therapist and the client. This connection is not bound by physical location. Through my online services, you will experience a safe, empathetic and supportive environment, no matter where you are.

⭐Accessibility and Convenience
Online therapy removes barriers such as travel time, and scheduling conflicts. It opens up the possibility for more people to access the support they need, from the comfort of their own space. You can also sit in your pyjamas and be comfortable and cosy.

⭐Comfort and Privacy
Many clients find that they can open up more easily in their own surroundings. Online therapy provides a level of comfort and privacy that can enhance the therapeutic process.

To help you experience this firsthand, I offer a FREE consultation. This allows us to meet, discuss your needs and ensure that you feel a strong connection with me before making any commitment. It’s important that you feel comfortable and confident in your therapeutic journey.

If you’ve been considering therapy but are unsure about online sessions, I encourage you to give it a try. The connection we build can be just as profound and impactful as in-person sessions.

Let’s take the first step together. Book your FREE consultation today and discover the possibilities that online therapy can offer.

One of the most transformative experiences in therapy is the strong interpersonal relationship built between the therapist and the client. Here’s why online therapy works: ⭐Connection Over Proximity The essence of therapy lies in the trust and rapport between the therapist and the client. This connection is not bound by physical location. Through my online services, you will experience a safe, empathetic and supportive environment, no matter where you are. ⭐Accessibility and Convenience Online therapy removes barriers such as travel time, and scheduling conflicts. It opens up the possibility for more people to access the support they need, from the comfort of their own space. You can also sit in your pyjamas and be comfortable and cosy. ⭐Comfort and Privacy Many clients find that they can open up more easily in their own surroundings. #Onlinetherapy #Mentalhealth #Psychotherapy #Counseling #Therapeuticrelationship #Accesstocare #Personalgrowth #Wellbeing
