"I have taken Elaine's Heart Chakra sessions before which left me with a sense of calm and peace. It's an area I was dubious about before, but came away seeing its value."
Rory
"Elaine is fantastic at what she does. She provides a welcoming, relaxing, judgement-free environment. I particularly enjoyed the online reiki healing sessions and felt a huge improvement in my daily anxiety. I cannot recommend her services enough!"
Alison
"Elaine is very empathetic and her counselling skills are second to none. She has helped me immensely over the course of many years and I can wholeheartedly recommend her to everyone."
Joe
"I completed a Chakra Healing and Distant Reiki course of sessions with Elaine. It was the most enjoyable experience. I felt very grounded during and after each session. It reduced my stress levels which helped improve my sleep. Elaine has a lovely speaking voice which is very soothing and calming. This enhanced the sessions for me."

When the world feels like it's falling apart and uncertainty clouds the future, finding hope can seem like a daunting task. Yet, hope is often what sustains us through challenging periods, guiding us toward better days.
But how do we find it when things seem bleak?
⭐Finding Small Moments of Beauty
Hope isn't always about dramatic transformations or monumental changes. Often, it's the small, everyday moments that can reignite our optimism. Look for glimmers, beauty in the mundane: the way sunlight filters through the trees, the sound of birds singing in the morning, the love of your pet. Remind yourself that life has its pockets of joy, even amidst chaos.
⭐Purpose and Action
Channel your energy into actions that align with your values. Whether it’s volunteering, supporting a cause close to your heart, or simply lending a listening ear to someone in need, purposeful actions can be incredibly empowering. They help shift the focus from what we can't control to the positive impacts we can make.
⭐Connecting with Others
Isolation can amplify feelings of despair, so it's important to connect with others. Share your feelings with trusted friends or family members. Join an advocacy group and meet people who share your values. Being vulnerable and expressing your fears and hopes can lighten your emotional load.
Finding hope doesn't mean ignoring the difficulties or pretending everything is perfect. It means acknowledging the challenges while believing in the potential for positive change. Hope is also a form of protest against the darkness in the world,
In these difficult and scary times, know that you are not alone.

Friendships often form during pivotal life moments—whether at university, through work, or shared interests. As we grow, however, individual paths may diverge due to varying life priorities, interests, or geographical distances.
Why Do Friendship Breakups Hurt?
💫Emotional Investment: We invest significant emotional energy into our friendships, sharing intimate aspects of our lives
💫Identity Ties: Friendships often play a role in defining our identity. Losing a friend can feel like losing a part of yourself
💫Support Structures: Friends are trusted confidantes and losing one can disrupt your support network, creating feelings of loneliness
Tips for Navigating Friendship Breakups
💫Acknowledge your feelings: Allow yourself to grieve; it's normal to feel sadness, anger or confusion
💫Reflect on the relationship: Consider what made the friendship valuable and what led to its end. This reflection can provide closure and insight into what you value in relationships
💫Communicate openly if possible: If the situation allows, communicate openly with your friend to express feelings and seek understanding
💫Seek support: Lean on other supportive relationships—whether friends, family, or a therapist—to process your emotions and gain perspective
💫Focus on growth: Use this transition as an opportunity for self-discovery. What have you learned about yourself? What do you seek in future friendships?
💫Be compassionate with yourself: Remember that friendship breakups are a natural part of life and not a reflection of failure
While a friendship breakup can be painful, it also opens the door for growth and new connections. Engage in activities you are passionate about, join groups or classes and remain open to meeting new people who align with your current values and interests.
If you find yourself struggling with the emotions surrounding a friendship breakup, know you’re not alone. I’m here to provide support and guidance as you navigate this transition. Book your FREE consultation via the link in my bio.

Starting to work with a new therapist can be a daunting experience so I want you to know about a few things that are 𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 in my online sessions.
😢 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 – crying happens for a lot of reasons and it is a perfectly normal response to engaging in therapy. It can be a release.
☕𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐚 𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 – I’ll be honest, I rarely have a session without a cup of green tea. Many of my clients often have a tea or coffee with them as it can bring a lot of comfort.
🧠𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 – this can be from confronting difficult issues, nervousness, anxiety etc.
🫂𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 – lots of answers and clarity can often be found in silence. If you feel like being quiet for a little while in a safe space, that’s perfectly okay.
🐾𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮 (or showing me photos of them) – as my services are online, many clients have their pets sitting with them which can be very soothing and comforting.
🤬𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 – say what you want, express your thoughts and feelings, nothing is off limits.
If my sessions sound good, you can book a 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 with me via the link in my bio.
